Sell or list your property
Everything you need to put your home on the market: a value estimate, a listing that buyers actually filter on, and an agent who knows your street.
1. Check your price
Start with the Home Value tool and recent transactions on your street. A home priced inside the comparable range gets viewings; one priced above it gets passed over.
2. Prepare the listing
Bright wide-angle photographs, a clear floor area, and honest notes about the condition. Most buyers filter on photos before they read a word.
3. Choose your agent
Compare agents by the areas they work in, their completed transactions and their reviews. Ask how they will market your home, not just what they will charge.
4. Negotiate and hand over
Check the buyer's finances before granting the option to purchase, then plan the handover date around your own next move.
What your listing should include
- Exact floor area, bedroom and bathroom counts, and the remaining lease where it applies.
- Photographs taken in daylight, including the view from the main windows and the corridor outside.
- The walking distance to the nearest MRT station, measured on foot rather than in a straight line.
- Any restrictions that affect the buyer: renovation rules, rental limits, or an outstanding loan.
Prefer to hand it over? Find an agent who works your area and compare their transaction history before you sign an agreement.
